To anyone who is even thinking about getting married in Italy – call Joelle immediately!
 
We got married in stunning Gaiole in Chianti in October 2011.  It was the most perfect, amazing day of our lives and I can honestly say that it would not have been even half as perfect, had we not met the gorgeous Joelle Edwards from Joelle Marie Events.
 
Immediately we were infected with her huge enthusiasm, boundless energy, professionalism, organizational skills and expert knowledge on all things ‘Tuscan Wedding’!  Italy has always been a very special place for me and luckily my fiancé had no objection to hosting the wedding there – nor did any of our guests!  Right from the start Joelle just seemed to immediately ‘get’ our ideas for how we wanted our day (no matter how odd or madcap!) and it was always about us, down to every last detail.
 
Brides often say that getting married is extremely stressful – but I can honestly say that planning our wedding with Joelle was one of the most calm, fun, relaxed and exciting times of our lives and we will be eternally grateful to Joelle for giving us the exact wedding we pictured – the day of our dreams.  Both my husband and I and our guests were absolutely blown away by the whole weekend – people are still talking about the wedding of the year!!!!
 
Joelle – a huge, heartfelt, abundant GRAZIE MILLE!!!  You have become a dear friend and we will always be hugely grateful to you and look back on our perfect wedding with joy.

Dear Joelle,

Just a note to say THANK YOU, or GRAZIE MILLE, for organizing such a beautiful & memorable wedding.  We couldn’t have done it without you!  We set you a few challenges – like finding a Moroccan band to play in Ravello – hence why I thought the little gift of our appreciation was so apt: “Where there’s a will there’s a way!”  Thank you also for dealing with our last minute changes, always with a smile!

It was an incredible couple of days and we really enjoyed ourselves and could relax (except just before our first dance!), which was down to you having everything in hand.  The feedback from our guests was also great – some said arriving at the pool was like a scene from a movie.  They thought it was intimate and beautiful.

Anyway, once again – a huge thank you to both you and Alessandra and everyone else involved in making our day so special. 

Hope to see you in London or Florence soon for a celebratory drink!

We were married in September 2010, but it would not have happened nor become the most beautiful day of our lives, had we not met Joëlle.

We chose Italy following a driving holiday where we fell in love with the stunning scenery, gorgeous wines, lovely food and amazing hospitality of the people.  Once the venue was decided we realised how daunting the prospect was, with the distance, not speaking the language or understanding the culture, we needed a planner to hold our hands.
From the very first meeting with Joëlle, her expert knowledge of Italy shone through.  With her essential guidance and attention to detail throughout, she made certain that our day was personalised and unique. Ideas that were scrambled in my head became perfectly clear - Joëlle, you have more ideas than I could ever have thought of!

We recently married in Italy and used Joëlle as our wedding planner, a decision which was one of the best we ever made!

We wanted to get married abroad as we love travelling and wanted to have a small, intimate
ceremony with our closest friends and relatives.  With its beautiful landscape, outstanding cuisine, warm people and, of course, excellent wine, Tuscany was a natural first choice for us.  From the very start Joëlle was able to guide and assist with everything from finding the perfect venue to organising plate decorating classes in Florence!

“Working” with Joëlle was a dream, she did not pressure us to make decisions and always offered helpful advice and insights into how things might or might not work on the day.  Joëlle was always approachable, professional and over the time we’ve known her became a trusted friend – one we shall miss as the wedding is now over!

Our wedding was in Montebenichi (halfway between Siena and Arezzo) at a wonderful Tuscan villa up in the hills, overlooking the valley below.  Joëlle helped identify a number of venues suitable for our wedding size, budget and style and we knew when we saw this one that it was the place for us.

Joëlle’s expertise was invaluable; she has extensive knowledge of local caterers, florists, musicians and other suppliers in Tuscany.  The quality of the service provided by Joëlle and also by the people she recommends is second to none, which all culminated in a perfect wedding day.

We would highly recommend hiring a wedding planner if you are getting married in Italy and, more importantly, Joëlle.  She was always in complete control – the whole day was effortless for us and she was smiling throughout the entire process.

Joëlle not only impressed us but also managed to impress members of our family, which is not an easy task!
